FAQ
Below are frequently asked questions about our studio and policies. But if you have any other questions, we're happy to help.
I am new to pilates... what should i do first?
For both studio safety and flow, we recommend people new to Pilates attend one of our New to Reformer Series (happening monthly) or to book a discounted New Client Private Session so we can discuss your health history/goals and specific needs to help you decide which of our offerings will be the best fit! If you have movement limitations/injuries or are pregnant, please do not book into our group classes. Please reach out to studio to discuss your best course of action.
I have practiced pilates at another studio...can i hop into group reformer classes?
There are many different styles of Pilates out there (Classical, Contemporary, Fitness Fusion, etc) and even Reformers that function differently so we recommend even if you are an experienced practitioner to begin with our Level 1 Reformer Classes. Then we can make sure to get you acquainted with our studio, equipment and instructor styles. If you have injuries or movement limitations, please book our New Client Private first so we can see what kind of modifications we can offer you and decide if group classes will be a good fit.
What should i wear to workout?
We require everyone to wear grippy socks. Bring your own or we sell them at the studio. As far as clothing, any athletic clothing that you feel comfortable in is great! Please don't wear clothes with zippers/buttons or wear belts or sharp jewelry as they can damage the equipment.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a class or appointment?
We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. All cancellations/schedule changes can be completed online on your member account. A credit from your current package will be deducted for late cancels (less than 24 hours before class start time) or no shows. Please notify the studio if you are sick or an emergency situation arises.
What if i am running late?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. For studio safety and continuity, no one will be admitted into class more than 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, and your spot may be given to a standby client.
How does the waitlist work?
Registering for the waitlist is like registering for class. If you are on the waitlist and can no longer attend class, please remove yourself from the waitlist. When a spot opens up in the class, everyone on the waitlist will get a notification that a spot is open to book. Whomever books the spot first will be added to the class roster. If you join the class from the waitlist and late cancel or no show, you will be charged accordingly.
under age of 18 or scheduling for another?
If you are under the age of 18, you will need to have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian before taking your first class. You must be 16+ to attend group classes. Please contact the studio if you would like to set up a private or semi-private session for a client under 16.
Are sales final or transferable?
Yes, all sales are final. If you have a package you can not use in the 3 month expiration time, please feel free to transfer it to a friend or family member who would enjoy our offerings!
What if i travel often? will my package expire?
All packages have a 3 month expiration period. We want to encourage clients to attend regularly to feel the full benefits of the work. We understand that many of our clients travel seasonally so please plan accordingly and only purchase packages you are able to use within the expiration period.
