Leisa Foronda recently moved to the foothills from St Pete Beach, Florida where she taught school for 23 years and practiced yoga for 15 years. She moved onto her mothers farm where she manages all the animals and gardens as well as caring for her mother. She decided to combine her two loves and completed her 200 hour YTT to become a yoga teacher. She believes that a regular yoga practice will help prevent future suffering and is excited to help others retain or regain strength and mobility as they age. She is the mother of three adult children and grandmother of two. In her spare time she is active in community theater, loves to hike and meditate in the beautiful WNC mountains.
